What should I choose - new radiators or new case?

I'm in the process of building a new computer but I've come across a problem with a repulsively disgusting case (in my opinion). The problem is that I already have this case and another case which if I don't use then I'll never have a purpose for them and cases are practically impossible to sell back to people unless you live in a city or have a crap load of gamer friends locally near you.

I bought an NZXT Phantom (full case, not the 530 or any other series), but it's unique inwhich it has green painted trim around it, and it just looks outrageously beautiful and it's so simple in design with just about every feature I'd want - it has.

Now on for the components:

I am using an FX-8370 (4.3Ghz) CPU and these CPU's can generate a lot of heat so it needs a formidable CPU cooler.

This lead me to buying the NZXT X61 Kraken (280mm radiator), although - I didn't know the specs from the NZXT Phantom were so far from the specs of a standard NZXT Phantom 530; which lead me to having incompatibility because the case only supports 140mm and 240mm radiators and not a 280mm radiator.

Now after doing enough research I have some concerns.

1. I can buy a 240mm Corsair H100i V2, but I don't think there is enough room in the case without interfering with the motherboard which has already sustained enough damage from the X61 radiator.

The only way to fit a radiator in the case seems to be if you split the radiator and the fans from the top of the case unless you wish to cover up the entire top of your motherboard (headers, pin plug-ins, possibly knocking around the ram or CPU cooler block), god forbid you keep the 200mm fan that comes in the top of the case.

2. Purchase a smaller NZXT X41 140mm radiator. This could fit easily in the case - BUT - would it be good enough to cool an 8-core 4.3ghz FX CPU? Could there be a way to offset it's cooling capability by installing more fans in the case?

3. Purchase a larger case that 1. has large enough top room, 2. has room for the 280mm radiator I already have, and 3. doesn't interfere with the motherboard including cable management? I was thinking into buying the NZXT Phantom 530 case which has native 280mm radiator support BUT it's not much larger than my current Phantom so I'd have motherboard/spacing issues again I think. Or I could just get another NZXT 820 Ultra case which is what my primary computer already has and then have zero problems with any radiator space.

The build isn't complete yet so it has no temp averages. Right now I only have the x61 280mm kraken but it doesn't fit so I'm looking for alternatives. Either a new water cooler in a smaller size or a new larger case. Either way I'm losing $100-150, and both options are pretty much the same price unless I get a phantom 820 or other case that easily supports 280-320 radiators. The phantom 820 would be closer to $240.
