My current build is just shy of 2 and a half years, and was wondering if I should make some improvements to my existing build, or just straight out buy a new gaming PC?

Current PC specs:

CPU: AMD FX-6200
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
RAM: Vengeance 8GB 1333MHz 2x4gb (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9)
Hard drive 1: SSD Corsair Force GT 90GB
Hard drive 2: Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX 1tb
PSU: OCZ600MXSP, 600wt
GPU: Sapphire 2gb R9 270X dual-x OC

My goal is to have a PC that can easily run most new games on ultra settings, 1080p, 60fps (e.g fallout 4), etc. my budget is £1000, any suggestions are welcomed.

Cheers.

Solution
You have enough money to basically throw your old PC in the trash.
But don't because you can still reuse the HDD and SSD, and you should transfer your windows license to the new PC.

This will max all the current games. It's probably like 200% better than what you have currently.
