Corsair 200r power button takes a few minutes to actually boot the pc

When trying to turn on my pc through the power button on the case its not as simple as pushing the button. On most occasions i have to hold the button down for about 90 seconds before the pc starts running. Sometimes i hold the button for about 5 minutes until it turns on. cant find any solutions so does anyone have any possible fixes??

Sounds like the button is faulty to me. Try shorting the two power button headers on the motherboard with a screwdriver. If the PC starts immediately, it's a faulty power button. IF the problem still persists it's a motherboard problem.
