Best CPU Cooler?

Solution

Reviews from 2011 and May 2015.
Does not include the Cryorig, because it was not released yet. (yes, the H7 was released in Jan 2015, but was it included against the 212?)

Time marches on, and the best last year may not be the best today.

I'd go with the Cryorig H7.

Air cooler, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13C-000X-00037&cm_re=hyper_x_212-_-13C-000X-00037-_-Product

Great cooling, dead silent, in most cases performes as good as a liquid cooler. And less parts to fail unlike a liquid cooler.

Evo version performs similary and is cheaper

I need a final opinion, Cryorig or CM?

The C7 is a low profile for ITX builds. The H7 is a standard design. It's designed for case and RAM clearance, so will fit in tighter cases.

Get the cryorig h7

The CM is cheaper, and it performs well too. For OCing it's good.

This review shows the H7 beating the 212 Evo.

I did a build with it recently, fairly simple install process, really simple with 2 people. Good performance on the i5 6500.

The 212 in comparison is a down right PITA to install.
