Yes, but...
A 250GB is much better price per GB.
US prices, the 120GB is $69, the 250GB is $88.

A year from now, you'll be kicking yourself over saving that $19, and only having 1/2 the space.
Hi Neikuo.

It should be quite sufficient for the OS and some programs/apps as well. It really depends on how you manage your available space, but you should be OK with that, especially having in mind you'll have additional drives for all your personal files, games, projects, etc.

Here's a helpful article with tips for new SSD users: https://www.maketecheasier.com/12-things-you-must-do-when-running-a-solid-state-drive-in-windows-7/. Even though it says Win 7, those tips are still viable for the newer versions as well, except for TRIM probably, which should be enabled by default.

Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I'm running a 64bit install of Win7 on a 64GB Crucial M4... No - not much space left (about 20GB) but it's a support server running a bunch of VMs so it doesn't do much else. All the other VMs are on hotswap drives so it has about 14TB of additional storage...

My main desktop uses a Samsung 830 128GB drive and it has plenty of space.

Yup - good price/space ratio. 256GB (well 240 with overprovisioning) is more than enough. See if you can find a good MLC drive as I'm still very leery about the TLC - I know they'll probably hold up just fine, but I --know-- MLC is more solid (and overall faster for the majority of the drives)
