Higher CPU temps than before

I noticed that my cpu temps were higher than usual. I was playing cs:go and my cpu temps were around 60 degrees C when they usually were around 53 C. Then i tried Prime95 and the temps were much higher than before. Normally i had about 65 C Socket and 47 C Core. Now i had 71 C Socket and 55 Core.

CPU: FX-6350 stock
Cooler: Antec H20 650 in push/pull

Any help is appreciated.

I checked the clock speed and voltages and they were the same as before. Also checked my speedfan fan curve and it was same too. Gonna try cleaning the radiator, and if that doesn't work i'll get new thermal paste. I wonder if stock thermal paste that was preapplied is bad?

Nope, my ambient is usually about 21 degrees, and when i had lower cpu temps, the ambient was about the same +/- 1 degree C.

In that case, it's likely:

1) Something has changed regarding heat output: clockspeed, voltage

2) Fan speed profile has changed.

3) Dust has built up, reducing the effectiveness of the cooler.

4) For some reason, your thermal paste application has degraded. Most high quality pasts will not degrade, but some do.
