Is the New RAM compatible with the Old RAM?

I am planning to upgrade my RAM to 16 GB by installing 2x4 GB RAMs in the unused slots on my motherboard which already has 2x4 GB RAMs in the other two slots (4 slots total). I am running into the problem of CPU Cooler blocking a RAM slot so I cannot place exact RAMs. However, I did find Low Profile RAMs that sort of match the configuration of my previous RAMs and should fit in in-spite of the CPU Cooler.

My previous RAMs: Corsair Vengeance (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9)

The new RAMs that I am considering: Corsair Vengeance (CML4GX3M1A1600C9)

Are these RAMs compatible? Can I go ahead and purchase these?

Thanks for your help :)

Solution
Likely it will work and most of the time it will. However, RAM is a finicky beast and sometimes sticks simply just won't work together so there is no way to say 100% that it will work.
Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
A motherboard must manage all the ram using the same specs of voltage, cas and speed.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
Some motherboards can be very sensitive to this.
That is why ram vendors will NOT support ram that is not bought in one kit.

Your links show single stick 4gb products.
It is somewhat unlikely that you can get sticks from 4 different packages to work together.
If you try, you can sometimes overcome problems by increasing the ram voltage in the bios.

Is the possibility of buying unuseable added 8gb a problem to you?
My suggestion is to replace the 2 x4gb sticks you now have with a compatible 2 x 8gb kit and sell the old ram.
