I want to make a server that can run minecraft, Rust and maybe gmod at the same time can you guys tell me if this build is good, http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Zfv7D3, or if you have a better build for less or the same amount of money!

Solution
Do not go with an FX 6300. It might have more cores but it's much slower than modern Intel CPUs.

I guess I misunderstood what you were asking about. I have seen a few posters ask about building a powerful server to run games on with light client machines in other rooms where the gaming will actually be done. These people like to be able to play multiple games at once on different client machines while doing all the work on the powerful server machine. This is what I thought you were asking about.

Now I understand that you are trying to host a multiplayer server and not actually use this machine to play the games. If that is the case I'm not sure you even need a GPU at all. I don't have experience with that so I could be wrong but I...

This build is much better for about the same amount of money. It also has a modern CPU and motherboard socket so it can be turned into a much better PC without having to replace the motherboard, RAM, and power supply.

That being said, at this price range you are going to have a hard time building anything that can play 3 games at the same time. This build has a much better CPU and GPU than the ones you picked though.

Why need a good graphics card to run game SERVERS, and would it not be better to have a cpu with more cores for running servers?

Thanks, so the other build was for hosting and playing on the same machine. I will probably use this build, thanks again!
