I have Acer Aspire v5 laptop with Windows 8.1. I got new PC and I didn't turn on laptop for quite a while. Yesterday I needed some files from it, but when i turn it on, it just kept spinning Acer, so I changed Boot Mode from UEFI to Legacy. After restarting it it says "Operating system not found". I had all pictures, music, files for school on it.. So how can I access my Hard Disk and get all my files back? :bounce:

Nothing happens, it just keeps loading :(

Take the laptop HDD out and connect it to your pc, get any files you can off it. This could be a sign the HDD is dying. If it's completely dead then there is nothing you can do. If it's dying don't waste time trying to fix Windows, the longer you use it the more likely it is to die completely. Once you have your data backed up then you can try and repair windows.

I did what u said and now my windows 7 on PC doesn't want to boot it stays on Starting windows. I never used 2 HDD on one PC so I don't really know do I need to change anything in BIOS.
UPDATE: So I changed from Sata Type AHCI to RAID and now it says "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key". I checked boot order and it first boots from my hdd with w7 so i dont know what is the problem
