Hey everyone,

I am throwing away my laptop of 5 years and I want to invest my hard earned money in a gaming rig. Since I am a student with a low paid job and I also have to buy a monitor+keyboard+opsystem, I can only afford a ~800€ (~900$) build.

My plan: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/user/Sharnakh/saved/NdVJ7P

Because I am no pro at building pc-s, I want to ask for your opinion. My main concerns are mostly around the motherboard (should I pick something better or is it enough? ) and psu (520 Watts? Too much? Is the brand reliable? ), but I'm also opened to other advices and improvements. I would appreciate your professional help :)

Thanks in advance! #sorryformyenglish

Not a bad build, but you can do a bit better, for that price. PSU choice was a good one, quality wise, and wattage was ok too. Seasonic is a top PSU maker. You can get this Seasonic built XFX, for less, though. Downside is that it is not modular. I would also recommend current gen i5, for better upgrade options, in the future. Do not need that 212 either. Made some tweaks, to get you a current gen CPU, and a higher clocked GPU.

Motherboard: ASRock H170 Pro4S ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (€96.89 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Memory: G.Skill Aegis 8GB (2 x 4GB)...
