Different PSU config than expected...do you think this is wrong?

Hi!
So I'm putting together my new rig and I came across some oddity while getting the parts. My GPU is GTX 780 with TDP rated at 250W. It is powered by 6 pin and 8 pin. My PSU arrived yesterday and the specs said it has 2 PCIe 6+2 pins, so that is just perfect for single card setup. When I opened the box however, I discovered the two 6+2 pins are actually daisy-chained, so it's on a single cable bunch, split at the end. It's a Seasonic PSU, so I believe they thought the design through and therefore, it should be capable of powering a single power hungry GPU or even 2 weaker ones at the same time with no problems.
So what I want to ask is, are the cables gonna be OK with the load?

Thanks for your answers and/or opinions!
Stanley

Solution
It will be fine. They wouldn't have tacked on the extra set to the same cable if they didn't intend for you to use it. Which Seasonic is it?

Thanks for affirmation...I thought so but actually needed someone to nod along :D. It is Seasonic S12II-620 - official website, pcpartpicker.

EDIT: At the pcpartpicker, one of the reviewers is actually powering R9 390 8GB with it, which has TDP od 275W...now I'm quite confident it will work for me and ashamed I didn't notice the review there before....well, happens :D

I've actually read there may be problems with this issue, but decided I don't have to care about that until the PC is actually built :D Still, thanks for this notice!

On a separate topic, you might be able to answer me another question, because I just cant figure it out. I recently built a pc for my grandfather, who only uses it for office work and simple games with my 4 year old nephew. It's built with an APU (I think A4 7300) and some simple Asrock motherboard. Everything works as expected, except one thing: whenever you click a mouse button of a key on a keyboard, the PC turns on - not from sleep state, but from actual shutdown state. There are options to enable waking the pc up with keyboard or mouse in the bios, but those are disabled. I've searched, but just can't find a reason for that and I can't figure it out (on the other hand, I just might have to spend a bit longer time tinkering with it until I finally find it.
If you have any insight, I'm all ears :D

Thanks again!

No, I really have no idea. You are sure that the computer is actually powering off and not going to sleep or hibernation? After it "shuts down". unplug the cord to the PSU. Wait a few minutes, then plug it back in. Then hit a keyboard key and see what happens.

Yes, I am sure...I repeated that many times just to be sure I really am not just misclicking. I actually thought about the PSU unplug method, but couldn't test it yet...well, guess I know what the next step is :D.

Thanks for your help and have a good day/night/whatever
