So, I've wanted to build my own pc for a while now, for different reasons. And I've managed to put together a build that I might use if it's good. So back to the question...

Is this build good for gaming?

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/MatthewTheGamer/saved/#view=c7HcCJ

Tried to go for a £1500 build, but it turned out to be a little bit cheaper. Willing to spend £1620 at max.

Please tell me if I need to make any changes to the build, or any kind of tips would be helpful, thanks!

PC Build is excellent, just a reminder though that r9 nano is a bit warm of a card but considering your case has good airflow then its probably gonna be fine.

RMi Series on Corsair is on Tier 1 with an 80+ Gold Standard

It's good, except the PSU, choose one from tom's list (google psu tier list)
I should warn you though, R9 NANO has a heat problem, it could thermal throttle in summer, if your room is not cooled.
If your room is at let's say 20C R9 NANO will perform nice, but hot.
If your room is 35C let's say it could thermal throttle, water block recommended with R9 NANO.

Have you tested this build? If so, does it have good fps, cooling and does it make a lot of noise?

no i havent personal tested it but ive been long enough of this forum to say its a good valuable/peformance build.
it doesnt make alot of noise and you can play on ultra.

Do you have any suggestions for upgrades? it's £500 under my budget, so that's plenty of money to upgrade some parts. :3

Anyways, I might decide to go for this build, it seems pretty powerful. :3

Also, does the GTX 980 Ti have coil whine?
