I recently built a pc for my mum using an intel G4400 and now my dad would like one for his office. Though they dont really use the PCs for much other than browsing and office docs so Im thinking I can get away with using something cheaper, though Im not sure whats decent. Basically it simply needs to be relatively snappy and responsive. I am putting the OS on an SSD so the boot will already be snappy. Can anyone recommend a cpu?

It also needs to have integrated graphics.

Thats great, thanks. Wish that I had known about this before.

Frankly, the G4400 is probably the best CPU. Kabini (AM1) and Atom CPUs are so slow that, when there's no hardware acceleration, they can struggle with things as simple as playing YouTube videos. To save money, you might go with an older Intel Pentium or Celeron, but you definitely want at least two "big" cores, Atom and Kabini being "small" cores.
