Self built rig with Gigabyte z77n-WIFI mobo. It has Intel HD Graphics. OS Win 10 64bit. The system has been running fine for last 2 yrs. Recently installed Corel's AfterShot Pro 64 bit. Had that running last night and this morning the PC would not wake from sleep. Long story short, it will run in SafeMode and it will run with MS display drivers (circa 2006) installed. Have just tried to install the latest Intel drivers and I'm back to no display. Read on here there could be a situation where the Intel drivers are causing the PSU to be overpowered.
I would continue to run the MS drivers, except that on reboot the system reloads the Intel Drivers. I have to go into safe mode, uninstall and reboot into win 10. The MS drivers will then work for the session but get uninstalled on the next reboot.
Also, when I tried to go into the video settings during MS driver session the system dropped the video because it reloaded the Intel drivers.
