I have a PFSence router with PIA VPN installed on the whole router. The problem is I can not access my security cameras remotely. Can I split the networks and have security cameras go to 1 network and the rest go over the VPN? Im thinking Modem to switch to 2 seperate routers? This possible?

I can't be 100% sure with PIA VPN but in general with VPN you can define traffic that is suppose to go via the vpn and other traffic that would bypass the tunnel. You should be able to define your cameras ip into a group that can bypass the tunnel. The port mapping should work the same as if the vpn did not exist.

Thats what I was originally thinking....but im not sure how to configure it. Once I built the PFSense router, i had the other router laying around and thought it might be easier
