Cant locate my files in Sandisk 64GB otg micros usb

I am unable to locate my files in the flash drive. The drive shows space occupied

But I am unable to locate my files as it shows empty. I tries showing up hidden files but didn't succeed as it shows file not found.

Also, I tried chkdsk and I got the results as :

I need the data urgently as Its the only copy I have. Please help

You can try using Recuva and if that cant find anything then give Testdisk a try. You may need to run a deepscan.

I'm thinking the drive has hardware issue that software will not be able to recover from so this may need to be sent out if the data is really that valuable.

In the future, please keep in mind that anything you don't want to lose needs to be backed up. A backup is an extra copy of the file that's kept on another device (cd, dvd, external drive, flash drive...). The more backups you have of the file(s) the safer that data is from being lost.
