Passport Ultra -Can't open files

I just downloaded my computer to a new Ultra Passport. When I go into: WD Backup swstor - the files are all there, but all say 0kb or 1kb and when I open one, it says "invalid image" on pictures or nothing opens on files. What do I do? ughhh

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with the WD Backup software but it looks like the backup process wasn't successful. :( I'd suggest you repeat the procedure and I'd even advise you to reinstall the WD Backup Software beforehand.

Have you tried accessing the backup from another computer? If reinstalling the software didn't help, I'd suggest you reformat & re-partition your WD My Passport external drive. This will erase all the data on it, so make sure you have backed up all important files elsewhere.

Keep me posted with the the troubleshooting.
