In both games, around every minute or so, I will lag backwards to where I was a second before. I have reinstalled CS:GO, problem was not fixed. I have verified integrity of game cache, made sure WZC was disabled, and there is no drop in ping or frames when it happens. What could be causing this?

Try this: Go in command prompt and write "netsh wlan show settings" (without ").
In the bottom of the page there's a thing that says :Auto configuration logic is enabled on interface "Wireless Network Connection"
Now write : netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="Wireless Network Connection"
p.s: if in the bottom of the page the thing says Auto configuration logic is enabled on interface "Wi-Fi" write netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="Wi-Fi"
For me it worked... I hope it works for you too

Hey man, i typed in whatever you recommended and it really did fix my latency issue.. However, my Wifi settings disappeared. I didn't really care since I was still connected to the internet, but...

Rocket League is really touchy on your connection i can play CS fine with upwards of high 100 ping but if you have any type of spikes like that it is most likes your connection that is causing the probably. I'd say take a look at your router and or cables then check again.

Also, I forgot to mention, my connection is wireless.

I just read on some posts and people are saying that Wifi vs Ethernet cable you can see a huge difference "playing rocket league with a wireless connection and plugged in an Ethernet cable. This changed it so I was rarely getting rubber band spikes in most of my games. I'd recommend to switching to Ethernet if you haven't already, it might just make the difference for you".

Ethernet is not an option for me, for several reasons. Also, one problem is that this rubberbanding never happened until about two weeks ago. I have not changed anything I can think of, I've made sure my computer is free of viruses, etc.

I didn't really care since I was still connected to the internet, but recently i had to restart the modem and i was unable to connect to anything, and the WiFi networks simple aren't there...
I tried typing the code once again with opposite commands but nothing has changed.

Can you help out?

Hi, i'm andrea_34 (i'm in another account).
To fix that issue you have to reenable wlan autocofig by writing on Commander propmpt netsh wlan set autocofig enabled=yes interface="Wi-Fi", but when you do it rocket League start lagging again.
This method is really long, so you Can do two text files on desktop, inside One of them you write the Command to disable wlan autoconfig, and inside
the other you write the Command to set autoconfig enabled.
Now you convert them from .txt to .Bat...
Now when you start your computer you launch the .Bat file to set autoconfig enabled and when you are connected you launch the .bat file to disable autocofig.
I hope it helped,
Andrea
