As the title says, the gigabyte G1 gaming cards (with 3 windforce fans) are all pretty much the same regardless of the chip of the gpu, I'm asking would they fit in the cooler master K280 chase? on CM website it says up to 12.4" length of gpu is supported, and the G1 gaming cards are 12.24" that is pretty close, would it fit?
Thanks

Solution
the 12.4" are before you hit the drive cage, so if you dont have any drives right infront of the GPU, it should add about 4-5 inches of compatibilty space, so it should fit just fine.

I currently have this card in it which is 10.47" in length and the free space between the card and the HDD bay (no HDDs near gpu) is about 3-4cm, Asus HD7850 DCU2V2

the entire length of the case is 18.9", which leaves around 5-6 inches for the drive cage.

Thanks, One more questions, would the Corsair CX600 Power supply handle XFX R9 390?

will it work? yes.

is it a bad idea? also yes.

CX units are known (on this forum) for being very cheap and bad units, and are sold just because of the corsair name.
if you want a real GPU, you need a real PSU to accomedate it. any seasonic or a high quality XFX or EVGA unit would be good.

Yeah I do know its bad and I regret buying it, but thing is i cant afford a good powersupply, it would cost me literally twice the price of the actual PSU (i paid 120 USD for CX600 when it was 60 USD on amazon)
and no shops here sells good power supplies, theres a cougar CMX 850W PSU for 180 USD and deepcool Aurora or w.e 550 or 500W PSU for 75 USD.
is it a better option to go for GTX 970? given the fact that i play on 1360x768 and sometimes 1920x1080p maximum, would it be enough for about 2-3 years on those resolutions? the gtx 970 i mean. and it will work good on CX600 right? none of my hardware is OC-ed btw.

Amazon.com or newegg (Amazon preferable), budget up to 330 USD (Weight matters, each pound adds $10 to the price of GPU), (I have MSI 100ME Gtx 970 in my mind), Should come with a backplate preferably, Should be at least 4gb GDDR5, no used ones or refurbished since i cant return the card and the guarantee doesn't work where i'm from, cant change power supply (will be using CX600 for now), max resolution 1080p, processor i5 4690k stock clock liquid cooled with CM Seidon 120V. and the G1 gaming cards fit, just found some pictures on pcpartspicker, it fits just fine.
Thank you for the help!
EDIT: Don't count the weight money on the GPU's price, i can afford up to 400USD (GPU + Taxes and its shipping weight) all together
