Is safe update from Asus P8Z77M PRO BIOS v2105 to latest v2203 using using an OLD i5-2500k?

Hi everyone, Asus P8Z77 M PRO + i5-2500k at 4.6GHz + 16GB of RAM 1672MHz + Gigabyte GTX 770 overclocked at 1306MHz; Current BIOS v2105 customized "replaced with Asus ROG image on Asus boot logo screen;
Is dangerous messing with BIOS staffs!
My question is can I update the BIOS to its latest version v2203 without being put on a deadly loop loop and loop due to my old i5-2500k? Thanks so much.

I have the same motherboard running bios 2003 and it works perfectly. Unless you have a specific reason to update bios you should leave it alone if it's working properly.

Yes I have reason, since I pulled from v1908 to v2105 things went wrong, whenever I shut down my PC and mainly power of the PSU it loss the BIOS configuration. I have triyed another battery and nothing changed.
