I checked out the dimensions of my case and the size of the cooler, and my case is about 8.2" wide, based on the specs on newegg, and the heatsink on the H5 Ultimate is 160mm based on the info on their website. I checked pcpartpicker.com and it said they should be compatible but I don't know if that site is 100% accurate about case compatibility issues. Anybody have any personal experience with either of these products?

If you look at a pic of the case on newegg, you'll see that the side panels have a bit of a bubble or jut out in kinda of an aesthetic way, so that may provide a little extra clearance, however idk if they factored that into the 8.2" width dimension that is mentioned on newegg

PCPartPciker at times has given off some bad suggestions with coolers and it's a good idea as you've done to double check with the community. Sadly though there isn't much information numbers wise of how tall of a cooler you can go for. Your cooler requires 1658.3mm of clearance to go along with your case.

You can go for a lower profile cooler without sacrificing too much heat dissipation e.g: their Cryorig H7 although we are unsure of your components so the TDP number may or may not affect this new approach.

A Coolermaster V8 GTS can fit(166.5mm):

as does the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo(159mm):

Best thing would be to pass on your full system's specs+the cases budget. It's highly possible we can net you a good chassis without a CPU cooler conflict.
