I have a zyxel pk-5001z router and a netgear wnda3100v2 adapter. My internet connection is shoddy (I am typing this post for the second time thanks to an inopportune lost connection), and I think both ends are at fault. I am going to replace the adapter first. I want to get an AC one, assuming I will one day use it with a 5GHz AC router. Will that AC adapter work with my current router, which can only do 2.4GHz?
