I need confirmation on RAM issue

Hi people,

I want to upgrade RAM for my laptop and I can't seem to understand this laptop.

I saw that my RAM can be upgraded to 8GB. Currently I have 4GB RAM working on 1333MHz.
Now if I buy 2x4GB 1600MHz will it work on this laptop; I went in BIOS and didn't see that I can change ram speed anywhere nor did I see how much can this laptop support, hence should I buy 1x4GB 1333MHz instead if it can't support 1600MHz.

HWiNFO says I currently have Samsung M471B5273DH0-CK0 ram inside the laptop which is Memory Speed: 800.0 MHz (DDR3-1600 / PC3-12800) but is currently working at 672.5 MHz meaning 1333MHz. I probably answered my question right here but still I want you guys to confirm it.
What I don't understand is why would OEM release the laptop with 1600MHz ram inside if it can't actually support 1600MHz.

Laptop: Pavilion g7-2050sm
Laptop product number: B4E42EA
Chipset: AMD A70M FCH
CPU: Upgraded from A6 4460M to A10 4600M

PS: I do have latest BIOS

Thanks!

That doesn't solve my issue. That manual says:

Memory:
Two customer-accessible/upgradable SODIMM memory module slots
Supports dual-channel memory
Supports up to 8 GB of system RAM
DDR3-1600 MHz, PC3-12800

I have 1x4GB Samsung M471B5273DH0-CK0 DDR3-1600 / PC3-12800 that is working on 1333MHz speed and I can't change ram memory speed in BIOS.

That's the main reason why I posted this issue because it's really confusing since even the manual says it supports 1600MHz yet it's working on 1333MHz
