Solution
It seems like your motherboard does have PCIe x16 slot according to gigabyte website http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2693#sp

No, it doesn't matter, your Gt710 will work.

The bit width of the bus (PCI, PCI-X, AGP, PCIe, etc) has nothing to do with the processor word size. It is simply the number of bits the communication channel can carry at a time.

The southbridge (now part of the Intel PCH or AMD chipset) handles the communication between the CPU and expansion cards (including video cards), so the bit width of the bus does not create any restrictions on the processor architecture.

Ultimately, whether your system can use the cards attached to your computer's expansion slots comes down to whether appropriate...

Yes it will work if your motherboard has a PCIe 2.0.

However it's a really really slow 2core processor so I would upgrade processor as well and get even better gpu like GT740

Recommendation:
Intel Core2Duo E6700 - $25 (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000I3SAQU/?tag=pcpapi-20)
MassCool CPU Heat Sink/Fan - $9.99 (http://www.amazon.com/MassCool-forIntel-Prescott-Celeron-Dual-Core/dp/B000VSHT3C/ref=sr_1_7?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1390726647&sr=1-7&keywords=heat+sink+fan)

GT 740 4GB ddr5 -> http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-GDDR5-Graphics-04G-P4-3748-KR/dp/B00KJGYOGG/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1462017315&sr=1-1&keywords=gt+740

I do have the pcie slot, but i'm concerned about the buswidth:32, the 710 apparently has a 64 bit bus width. Will it fit?
Also, it say's that it uses dual widthx8, is that the same as a x16 slot?. Thanks for answering, too.
