I am in need of a 2.5 2TB 7200 RPM Hard Drive. I have been looking at the seagate series of their enterprise HD's. My question regards on the type of HD I need. Under select your model of this link, it asks me which generation to select and sector formats (which I'm unsure of which to select) I don't need encryption which I selected none and selected the Sata interface which is what I need. Help on this is greatly appreciated!

Sorry I missed the 2.5inch part. Ya there are no choices for that. Seagate made one but discontinued it in favor of their SSHD's. The only 2TB 2.5 that exist AFAIK are SAS 15mm Z heights. That won't work for your use anyway as well as being $400.

You will either have to get an SSD or live with a 5400 HDD or a 5400 SSHD for that size.
