Help! SATA III 2 Port PCI Express Controller Card

I have the MSI AM1I MB and AM1 5350 Processor. I purchased a 2 Port SATA III PCI-E 2.0 x1 Card. I am running Windows 10 on an SSD plugged direct into MB. I also have a 1 TB HDD for data storage plugged direct into the MB. I want to plug two SATA DVD drives into the PCI-E 2 Port SATA III. I have the PCI-E card plugged in and my PC doesn't recognize the card. Furthermore, when I plug in the two DVD drives, the computer won't boot. It immediately shuts down and goes into Windows Repair mode and will not start with DVD drives plugged in. When I unplug DVD drives everything goes back to normal. i tried installing the drivers and when I click on the Setup App nothing happens (this is both with a download from the manufacturer and the disk that came with the card). Per the BIOS I am running in AHCI Mode. Help! The PCI card is the SI-PEX40094.

1| You've mentioned that you're on Windows 10. How did you go about with your installation of Windows 10? Is this installation based of the free upgrade path or do you have a licence key?
2| Have you made sure your BIOS and remaining device drivers(namely chipset) are up to date?
3| Have you made sure you're using the drivers found off their site, here? If so then you may want to try and install it in compatibility mode:
Right click installer>Properties>Compatibility Tab>Windows 7/8 [from drop down menu]
and see if the issue is alleviated.

It almost seems like you migrated to Windows 10 via the free upgrade path. If so then you will need to reinstall your old OS, then drop in your new SATA riser card and...
