Cherry MX Brown feels like a cheap keyboard from Dell?

Hi,
Right now I have a Corsair STRAFE MX Red, but when I'm typing I get confused a lot and I press buttons that I don't want to.
This is my first mechanical keyboard.

I feel more confortable with my old and cheap keyboard from Dell.

I was asking myself, what type of Cherry MX Brown is almost the same as a cheap keyboard?.

Hello... Yes there will be quite a difference to get use to... AS the Cherry switches use a dedicated spring in each switch for fast return up... the typical "Dell" uses just a soft "rubber-silicon "membrane as your Key return force.

What is the best for typing and gaming?. RED or BROWN or the new RAPIDFIRE from corsair?.

I have heard MX Reds cause that issue with new users. I went with MX Brown for my first mechanical (logitech g710+). It feels similar to a traditional membrane keyboard but isn't squishy.

Regardless of which you choose there will be a learning period with it. Been using mine for so long now that it feels weird to type on my mother's dell membrane keyboard. Not sure if I am pressing the buttons or not.

Hello... I'm not a "trained/schooled typer" and went with MX brown for my first Mechanical... I didn't want loud clicking was my first preference... I would say try and go a store Display and sample them... Just as a Guitar player needs to determine the type of fretboard, neck, frets, that work best with his Hand/fingers/music. B )
