what desktop software for Windows 7 can adjust (volume) bass, treble for videos that I have recorded?

Solution
I'm not too certain where this functionality is in Acid, but in Audacity, you can take a look at the manual here http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/bass_and_treble.html. In order to get the audio file into and out of an mp4 container file, you will need a method to demux it. A simple google search has found a program called YAMP (http://yamb.unite-video.com/download.html) which should be capable of accomplishing this task. I have never used this program, however, and cannot vouch for nor instruct you as to how to use it. The documentation in it's website may be of use to you.

There are a variety of programs that can accomplish this, depending on how you recorded your videos. I have has success with minor audio editing using Audacity (http://www.audacityteam.org/download/) and Acid Music Studio 10 (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/musicstudio). Audacity is a free program, while Acid is $59.99. However Acid has a free trial you may also be interested in. I hope this helps with what you are working on!

Thanks for your answer, I'll look into both of those.. Here's what I am trying to accomplish I do a lot of video recording of local live bands from my Galaxy Note 4...the playback sound can be off due to the venue, the soundcheck guy at venue so what I'm looking for is software that can take audio from my videos (phone records video as .mp4 and audio bit rate is 256 kbps) and adjust bass, treble yet I can save those changes made back into the video....is that possible or am I just wishing that's possible...

I found everything that I was looking for in the Adobe Premier Pro package, didn't need to use the Adobe Audition..thanks for every suggestion this is exactly what I was looking for. I've used it on "LIVE" music videos and it works wonders on adjusting the audio from the video.
