pretty basic but i need help using my new ssd

I just got a crucial 250 gb mx200 ssd. my computer model # p6510f. the cpu is a pantheon II 4x though. dont know if i should clone or do clean install, would have to by new os license but want win 10 anyways. im pretty new to all of this but ive proven to be a quick learner at times. i would need well explained step by steps....thanx in advance

1. What OS do you have now?
2. Do you know the license key?
3. Do you have the relevant install media to go with that license key?
4. How large is total current used space on the existing C drive?
5. Does the current install work to your satisfaction?

Desk top. i already have macrim reflect DLed
I tried it, and failed. when i formatted the ssd it only showed 147 MB total, 132 MB free. went into bios and it shows up correctly @ 250 GB.

Then you did something badly wrong in the format of the SSD.
Can you post a screencap of your Disk Management window, with the SSD connected?

it is still connected....just erased and now it says 149 MB free....and its green instead of navy

update: had option to erased a different way.....now 150 MB free...and black

From your image, are you talking about the "New Volume H: 148GB" on the far right of Disk 0?

If so...that is not your SSD. That is merely a different partition on your HDD.

In that Disk Management, I see a single physical drive, Disk 0.
