I updated my Asus H81M-K to an MSI PC Mate Z97. After the switch I reinstalled Windows 10 and updated all the necessary drivers. The BIOS is at stock settings. It seems to be running fine, but when I do graphics heavy tasks such as light gaming (CS GO, Emulation) I get pretty bad FPS drops that I never encountered with the lesser Asus Board. Please help, I have tried everything and it's driving me crazy. Thank you

Specs:
WD 1 TB Drive
Intel 120 GB SSD
MSI PC Mate Z97
Intel Pentium G3258 (Intel Graphics)
12 GB of DDR3 Ram
400W PSU

I'm fairly sure that it does. Especially given that I am running things, but just at slower than usual framerates. I do see on specout that it says that, but others say they are running it fine. I honestly need a card, but don't have one.

Actually, here's a possibility; your previous motherboard had integrated graphics. If they were more powerful than your Pentium integrated graphics that would probably be why you are getting lower framerates with this new motherboard. Install and check openhardwaremonitor anyway.

In Open Hardware I see this list of things:

MSI Z97 PC Mate
Intel Pentium G3258
Generic Memory
WDC Drive
Intel Drive
