Hi there I recently bought a gaming PC to play games on and when I realised that it had Intel hd graphics I wanted to upgrade it to a 750ti. Unfortunately when I opened the computer case up all the cables were in the motherboard saw a cable that might have been a six pin pci but it was in the ESD slot and so I decided not to touch it. My motherboard is an asus h81m-plus and my power supply is an cit active 85 500w. What can I do?

I strongly suspect that you will need to buy a new power supply that will supply all the power that the current one is and provide sufficient PCIe power. I always advise against trying to run a PCI card on a power connection that isn't meant for it.
