That WD Blue is only 5400RPM. Get the X series Blue that is 7200RPM.

Also may we ask where the parts are from, and how much. What is your budget? Reason is your going with a 660 video card (old generation) and a z97 board as opposed to Skylake.

I picked all of the parts from amazon.co.uk except im getting the GTX 660 from ebay
And my budget is around 2000£

It's a decent system, no compatibility issues I can see but your choices seem a little odd for a new build.
Now the critique: Skylake parts aren't much more expensive than the older gen ones you have chosen and offer some significant 'forward looking' features. Agree about the HDD. Why such an old gen graphics card? The GTX660 is now two, nearly three generations old, for an extra £50 you can easily source a GTX970 which will run rings around a GTX660, if push came to shove, I'd drop the HDD and spend the money saved on a faster graphics card.

Some info: Both AMD and Nvidia are going to release new cards fairly soon (Nvidia, early June, maybe AMD as well) so now is not a good time to buy a card. Not only are prices creeping up as the stock levels of the 'old' cards drops but you could end up with a bad case of buyers remorse come June.

Amazon can be really expensive and I'd definitely not get that GTX660!
That's quite a budget you have there, what will you be using the system for? What display/s will you use? will you overclock? Will you want a very quiet system or are you OK with a little noise?

I don't mind my Computer to make noise, but it will bother me it makes too much noise
the GTX 660 is more than enough, no need for a better one
I will use the Computer for Rocket League, Minecraft with Shaders, Rust, Subnautica, Watching movies in 1080p, Internet Browsing, Skype.
Thats all i need this Computer for
Im using a BenQ GL2460HM 24-Inch 1080p monitor
and no, i will not overclock

Ah, I specced this one up guessing you'd want more graphics power: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/coozie7/saved/#view=rBMRsY
Note, I didn't include a case, they're always a very personal choice and what appeals to me is likely to make you cringe!

OK this is closer to your needs, I'll stick with an Intel i5 CPU but I've dialled back the motherboard, power supply and graphics to be more in line with your needs. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/coozie7/saved/#view=TfqcCJ Again, no case but I have added a Blu-Ray/DVD/CD drive.

Now this is a nice system. It's what I would consider a base system today. M.2 SDD, 970 video, I5 K CPU, Z170 motherboard. A great 1080p system.

The only place to go from here is up. A 980Ti for 1440P, adaptive sync monitor, and a nice case and some liquid cooling.

As for the video cards. Yes NVidia is releaseinf their Pascal soon. Nut not the gaming cards. Their high bandwidth memory gaming versions will be end of 2016 or early 2017. AMD Polaris will also not be gaming worthy. Their Vega gaming cards will be out late 2016, or early 2017. So you have a good year left anyways so I'd still buy a current card. And lets say you get a 970 and game at 1080p, what's the point in getting a future card? If your 970 games fine at 1080p, unless you get a new 1440p+ monitor there is no point in upgrading. And DirectX 12 will become more prominent and is supposed to be 20% faster than DirectX 11, so again there is no need to upgrade.

The only reason I see for jumping into the new Pascal, is to achieve 144FPS with 1440P, to run 4k, or to run multiple monitors ala eyefinity. And for VR. If you're not going to spend the bucks on monitors, then it's definitely a good time to be buying a nice Geforce 970.

@ Gondo: Right now I've seen no solid info on exactly what cards either team will release, but I mentioned the Pascal/Polaris releases thinking the OP would need or want something stronger, or just might want to hold fire until the dust settles. It looks like I was incorrect.
I think my second setup is more in line with his needs, it's still a capable 1080 system but I've cut out the OC motherboard/CPU, lowered the GPU and opted for slightly slower RAM.

Alright so its been decided
Im getting the GTX 660, its a great card, it might be old but this is all the graphic power i want and besides i don't play games with good graphics that often, the only game that i play everyday is Minecraft so theres no need to spend more money on a GTX 970
Thank you all for your help, i appreciate it!

The Haswell platform is rocking some awesome deals right now!

You can get a used OEM 660 for like $100 or less if you shop well, dont pay a lot for such a weak chip! Look for one pulled out of an HP workstation or such. I'm waiting for 16nm GPUs with one, its tolerable.
