Cant install xp on new machine. why do this? for cad software. using old program on new machine doesnt work well.
specs i7 4790 mainboard gigabyte GA Z97N GAMING 5 newest bios installed
so i have windows 10 installed on primary ssd. i have a 2tb drive with 2 partitions one for windows 10 storage and another 30gb set aside for the intention of running xp on.
the ssd is disconnected. when i boot of a bootable usb its just black screen. when i run on cd it bypasses it even though i make cd as first boot device. in bios setting there is no native language support to disable.
any ideas?
cad? ---- mastercam 9 and 9.1 both dont run without crashing on windows 7 and 10
why not virtual os? person intended for not too smart to use it.
