Looking to buy a gtx 980ti, will there be a price decrease with the release of Pascal?

I am looking to buy a gtx 980ti and was curious if the price will drop with Pascal cards being released. I am new to building PCs and I do not know if a new GPU will lower the price of others. Or should I just purchase the card now.

totally disagree ,when the nvidia1080 come out for 650 bucs or so and is twice as fast as the 980 in sli then the 980 and the 980 t.i are going to drop significantly.If i were you i would wait until july or so,then go on ebay and you will probably pick up a 980 t.i for 300 dollars to 350

Thank you for your input. I haven't been watching the market long here in the US to see what they have been doing.

in fact i was just on ebay and i am seeing 980t.i going for 350 to upwards of 500, i had my eye on a particular seller that was selling his for 425 but he wont ship until june
