Hello,
I use my current system for 3d modeling, texturing, sculpting and photo editing. Softwares used are 3ds Max, Maya, Zbrush, Mudbox, Photoshop, Xnormal, Topogun. Also I also use it for light to medium gaming.

My current system config is :-
Processor - Core i5 4400S @ 2.80 GHz
Ram - 1 x 8GB DDR3 Kingston HyperX Fury
Motherboard - Gigabyte H81M - S
Graphics - Gainward GeForce 1GB GTX 750 (Non-Ti)
HDD - Kingston SSD 240 GB, Seagate 500gb Expansion Drive
OS - Windows 10 64 bit
SMPS - Antec BP450PS 450w
Cabinet - Antec VSK 4000

My questions are:-
1) Will my system benefit a lot from a 8Gb to 16Gb upgrade? or if it won't make a huge difference, is 4gb ok?

2) Should I go for the same model - Hyperx Fury 8gb ddr3 1866Mhz? or if it won't make a huge difference, is 1600Mhz ok?

3) Can you recommend a better or cheaper Ram option under 3000 Rs?

Thanks, in advance.

Hi,

Yes, in your case it will make a huge difference.
Your motherboard supports max 16GB of DDR3 ram http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5022#sp

And I strongly suggest that You install 2x8GB ram and since your motherboard support dual channel it will benefits this better than your current one-stick memory.

The motherboards chipset is H81 which suggest that your memory's should only use 1,5V (according to Intel 1,5V +/-5%).
If you are using memory's with higher voltage it will put more stress to the processor and shorten its life span.

1600MHzi is ok and you will not notice any difference.
Here is my suggestion:
Acording to G-Skills memory configurator which guarantee they will be compatible to your motherboard...

Acording to G-Skills memory configurator which guarantee they will be compatible to your motherboard:
http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-10600cl9d-16gbnt-

These are the two memory sticks you should get and do not use your old one at all.
http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-10600cl9d-16gbnt-
G.Skill part number:
F3-10600CL9D-16GBNT 2x8GB total 16GB 1333MHz

Or these two:
http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-1600c11d-16gis
F3-1600C11D-16GIS 2x8GB total 16GB 1600MHz

Or these two:
http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-1600c11d-16gnt
F3-1600C11D-16GNT 2x8GB total 16GB 1600MHz

I suggest the F3-1600C11D-16GIS
On Newegg this will cost 60$Us http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=F3-1600C11D-16GIS&N=-1&isNodeId=1

The F3-1600C11D-16GNT cost 58$Us on Newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231637&cm_re=F3-1600C11D-16GNT-_-20-231-637-_-Product
