Hey everyone, im running a decent kinda old rig, with a nvidia gtx 660.
I started noticing problems when constant messages would say "display driver stopped working but has recovered" when playing some games. Eventually games would start to crash and I would get black and sometimes blue screens of death, which later led to more frequent crashes and artifacts on the screen, all of which would require a manual reboot. Eventually i couldnt play any games without crashing after 30 seconds. Eventually after crashing from trying to play a game, my computer would get a black screen after loading windows, and the only way i could access it was with safe mode.
Form safe mode the only thing I knew to do was to uninstall the drivers, and with no drivers installed i was able to start windows normally (not in safe mode). From there i tried installing different drivers but no matter what driver I try, old or new, the problem persists. My computer doesnt work when i have drivers installed, but works when I dont have any. Please help
