This starts to happen after the day before yesterday. That afternoon I was listening to songs while waiting a match of DotA2 to be found. When the Ready windows pop-up, the whole computer freeze and the screen went gray. I've tried using the keyboard but there's no respond. So I asked my cousin about it and he asked me to pull out the graphic card and plug the monitor to the DVI port of the motherboard. And it works well. But when I put it back, the computer returned to the initial situation. So is it my graphic card is broken or there's another issue?

I've noticed that graphic card gets hot very fast, within 1 minute after startup.

Thanks!

Is it clean? Have you ever blown it out with an air compressor? Hanging at the logo happens to me too but I have a crapload of usb devices plugged in, it's detecting/loading hardware I think at that point. On my 8 core amd computer I have noticed it freeze there for 30 seconds or more every once in a while.

Yea I cleaned it and plugged it back. At first yea there's External Hard disk, Printer, External DVD writer, speaker and Mic connected. But after the first attempt,I unplugged all of them and plugged in the graphic card again. But the the second attempt failed too.

Erm I clean the gpu manually. Like cleaning the dust by my own only. Normally I just cleaned the top of the graphic card, but that day I took it out and remove the parts to clean the dust in the fan after that occurred.

I can log into my computer through safe mode.
