I builded a PC recently and it was a i7 6700k with 16gb DDR3 on a H170M DH3. I also recently learned that the DDR3 memory can damage Skylake processor like mine. I have been using this PC for 2 weeks. Now im about to change the Motherboard and the RAM for DDR4. But, could the processor have been damaged? I've been playing games like Dragon Age Inquisition and The Witcher 3. I didn't OC the CPU.
