Worth to change?

I currently running i5-4690(S-model), and one of neighbour is selling an i7-4790(Non-K) model. And the deal is pretty good.
Should i change to i7? Please don't reccomend me to go for Skylake CPUs because I don't have enough money to buy new DDR4 sticks and a motherboard. Also I do some rendering and gaming, that i7 might help save time for me.
Price:175$ 2nd Hand

Rig Info:
i5-4690(S-Model)
2x8GB 1600Mhz
GeForce Gtx-950
Corsair CX600Modular (600W) (Definitely enough for the new i7 and way too much for an i5)

It will make little to no difference in games but it should help reduce rendering times by a noticeable amount. If that is worth the cost is down to you

Ok. Is 175$ too much for 2nd hand i7? If not will get it.

$175 is a very good price. If you can sell ur current CPU online and use that money to wards the i7, it will definitely be worth it.
