I will be purchasing a Gigabyte 990FX-UD3 AM3+
Looking at the mobo specs compability, they list individual dimms that work. For example the Vengeance Corsair 4GB 9-9-9-24 1.5v
My memory dimms state ''CMZ24GX3M6A1600C9'' as that only a product sticker for the kit being sold? Because I purchased a complete kit of 24gb. Can I get rid of 2 sticks and use 16Gb for my new build?
