Hello.. recently i've been gaming "Dying light" and i've noticed that after a while of gaming my cpu temps reaches to 77c max. i want to know if that is dangerous? should i keep playing?.. because I'm too lazy to clean my pc from dust right now and it have been more than two months since i cleaned it.

Solution
77c is fine. Your CPU will throttle at 105c, and will shut down at 130c to protect from damage. 77c is nothing to a modern Intel CPU.

It's important to know that AMD and Intel CPUs have their temperature sensor in different places - Intel's is closer to the hottest parts of the CPU, so "70c" as reported on an Intel CPU may well be cooler than "40c" as reported on an AMD CPU. You can't compare the two 1:1.

thanks for your respond.. i just want to wait for 2 weeks or something till i get my cleaning tools.. until that i don't know should i keep gaming, or wait until i clean the dust.. is 77c means that its at the edge? so anything higher than that will be dangerous?
