How much optimized performance lost when not using max cards PCIe x16 speed?

I have a GTX 660 that's running on a PCIe 2.0 x 16. I know it's PCI 3.0 ready, but how much am I losing in performance? General theory..

if there is a low performance issue then maybe 1 fps or so..
u arent loosing any performance

None, it's not powerful enough to benefit from the extra speed of 3.0.
