Hi

I was just wondering if the CPU fan would fit? Here are my specs:

  • Aercool Aero-500 (with side window)
    Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard
Gigabyte 3-fan GeForce GTX 960 (Windforce)
I have one fan on the back, as is pre-installed, and no fans on the top
I also have one 8GB stick of RAM in the furthest slot away from the CPU

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

I don't have an ASUS mobo. I have a gigabyte one

just wanted to point out those little things that can be easly overlooked ? like guys find with memory/slot clearances after the fact then you pay that price after the fact ?

like said here ??

The Dark Rock Pro 3 is not going to turn heads when it comes to memory clearance as it actually covers all four DIMM slots, although the 120 mm fan on its front is adjustable, which leaves a bit more room for users that want to stick with standard-height memory for maximum compatibility. That said, it may also, depending on the configuration, block the top expansion slot. As such, problems may arise with large graphics cards. While the latter only applies to the first expansion slot if it is your primary PCIe x16 slot, it is something to keep in mind when considering the Dark Rock Pro 3.

you hat to have all them nice parts just to find that thing don't let them fit or block thing in some way after the fact ??

its not like you overclocking a 220w chips to the extreme max 24/7 is it ?? 98% of cooler performance is mounting it proper like I tried to explain here as well
