What temperature should I stay at under load at 4.8Ghz using 4790K? (What is the temp limit for it)?

What voltages are considered to be "Safe"? What voltages should I keep? Currently on 4.6Ghz 1.2V and I tried at 1.25V 4.8Ghz, posted to Windows but kept on getting WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR 'cause of too low voltages when I run stress test or a game. I kept increasing voltage until 1.285 and I was getting it but not as often, and now I'm thinking if it's safe to go beyond that.

I know of no official safe vcore limit.
The best I can figure, it is 1.3v.
That comes from silicon lottery, an outfit that bins chips and sells the better ones for a price premium.

It is the vcore that generates heat. Usually with only a fair air cooler, you will run out of vcore before you get into heat trouble.
I stress test with OCCT which will shut down the test at 85c. The actual tjmax is about 100c; that is when the processor will shut down to prevent damage.

When you find the limit of YOUR chip, implement speedstep and adaptive voltage.
That will reduce the multiplier and vcore when there is little to do.
