Ok so ever since i got my new graphics card i have been having problems, the problems at first was i would always get the notification 'graphics card has stopped responding and has recovered' or 'graphics card has stopped responding' and after trying several things i decided to revert from windows 10 back to Windows 7 Home Premium to see if that helped with if it at all. unfortunately it kind of made it worse as now instead of getting that notification and having to restart my game, my computer will blue screen and restart. This only happens when playing games but mostly on the game Smite which i tend to play a lot when i can.

I have searched for ages for a fix but came up with nothing pretty much every time so know i have came here to ask for help as i don't know what to do.
I have ran memtest and found no issues, i have checked my registry and found no issues, i have made sure everything is up to date including my graphics card several times and many other things but never has it fixed my problem. I think it could be to do with my power supply but I'm not sure.

my specs:

graphics card: AMD R7 250X 1G GDDR5

Motherboard: Gigabyte AMD A58 F2A58M-HD2

Processor: AMD A8-6600K APU with Radeon HD Graphics 3.90GHz

PSU: ATX switching power supply ATX-500b

RAM: 1 8gb stick of RAM

Sorry for any mistakes i have made.

This is my first time doing this sort of thing so please be patient and i will try my best to answer your questions.

it was overheating back when i was on windows 10 but i fixed that by adding 2 fans to my pc that were needed as i didnt even have an exhaust fan at the time but temperatures are fine now.

cables are all connected right as i have checked and unplugged and replugged them back in a few times.

in terms of noises i cant recall hearing weird noises when i blue screen but if i do then i will let you know.
