Here is an i3, B150 motherboard, and 8GB DDR4 RAM kit.

CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor ($109.99 @ Micro Center)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B150M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($61.69 @ Newegg)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($38.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $210.67

That is an FM2 motherboard so that will limit you. You can't use the newer FM2+ CPUs so maybe a AMD A10-6800K Quad-Core APU Richland Processor 4.1GHz Socket FM2. Not sure how much better that is then what you already have.

Yeah maybe in minesweeper, anything that resembles a 3D application, the CPU you have is no where near a 6600K.

So you are thinking of an Intel CPU and motherboard for $150 to $200? That limits you to an i3 most likely.

Here is an i5 using a DDR3 motherboard:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($179.99 @ Micro Center)
Motherboard: Asus H110M-A D3 Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($58.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $238.98

Im not sure, but I think that if you get a good cooler for your processor you can make it run continuously at 3.9 Ghz. You may have to raise the multiplier.
