Hello,
Just recently I my Nvidia 970 has given me the error code 43 in my device manager which was strange because it had been working flawlessly since I had installed it about a year ago. After a couple of days fighting with it (uninstalling, reinstalling drivers, re-seating the card, placing the card in different slots, doing a clean install of both windows 7 and 10) with no luck! After researching on the internet, I came cross a form stating that a low power supply may be the problem. So after doing some further research I found out that my 500w power supply maybe well under the recommended requirement as I was told I would need about 750w. So my question is could my power supply be the cause of my gpu acting up? If so could my card be damaged because of it? Do I need to upgrade my power supply from 500w to 750w or 800w?
System Info:
System: Windows 10 64 Bit
Motherboard: Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 at 3.20GHz
RAM: 16 Gb

Power Supply: 500W
