cpu: FX 6300 @1.452v
Mobo: GA-970A-UD3P (8+2 power phase)

Wattages are one of those things my brain just derps out on. I've watched countless videos about amps and volts and wattage and blah blah blah.

So how would I go about calculating the amount of watts my cpu is using? Or a round about number.

Solution
You could put your data into something like the extreme psu calc(this things tends to over estimate, but I guess it is better than under estimating.) OR just get a wall meter that shows the current wattage. At the wall also includes power supply losses so your computer is using less, but you are still paying for the losses(heat that the power supply generates when doing it's job).

UPS devices also tend to show power usage.
