My PC keeps BSODing when I overclock my i5 6600k. The most common one seems to be MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION. Happens just after BIOS, wont let me load into Windows at all. Typical startup logo and loading icon before freezing up entirely, going into an infinite loading screen, or hitting me with a BSOD. (using Win10, by the way.) Even using the AI Suite utility that Asus has to auto OC throws the entire system out of whack. I dont believe that memory is the issue; could it be a hard drive compatibility issue with Windows? Maybe a PSU issue with Skylake sleep modes (I prefer to put my PC to sleep rather than turn it off)? I've heard that bad processors are uncommon, but could that also be a possible cause? Any help is appreciated.

Full Rig

i5 6600k
Asus Z170-A
4x4 Corsair Vengeance LPX 2133
GTX 970 G1
Some cheap Toshiba 1TB hard drive (came with the system, bought it pre-built and threw in current parts. Will update when I find out what model.)
Sentey 725w PSU

Solution
Before you consider overclocking, replace the PSU with a quality model from the PSU tier list; http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html.

Once you've done that, learn how to overclock via the BIOS and avoid using software-based overclocking tools. Using the BIOS will give you far greater control over the settings you need. If you're unsure where to start, give this guide a read; http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/272214-29-wolfram-beginner-guide-overclocking.

Thanks a ton, man. I don't have a spare PSU from that tier list laying around currently, but I'll try to pick up one in the near future.
