My PC keeps BSODing when I overclock my i5 6600k. The most common one seems to be MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION. Happens just after BIOS, wont let me load into Windows at all. Typical startup logo and loading icon before freezing up entirely, going into an infinite loading screen, or hitting me with a BSOD. (using Win10, by the way.) Even using the AI Suite utility that Asus has to auto OC throws the entire system out of whack. I dont believe that memory is the issue; could it be a hard drive compatibility issue with Windows? Maybe a PSU issue with Skylake sleep modes (I prefer to put my PC to sleep rather than turn it off)? I've heard that bad processors are uncommon, but could that also be a possible cause? Any help is appreciated.
