Hi Guys,
I have the chance to get a gigabyte windforce GTX 780 for around USD 200. I don't live in the US, and the GTX970 in my region is around USD370 new. Used might be got at around 290 maybe.

I usually don't play games, but I have the hobby to renew my PC components and I like good deals.

Does this 780 seem like a good deal or is it better not to get it?

Earlier I got a 760 for 100USD and I felt it was a good deal.

It's a decent price. You can find a 780ti for around the same price, I had the 780 for a few weeks before a TI model went on sale, (only $100 more at the time) and it was quite a bit faster.

780ti even has some under the hood features that weren't on any previous 7xx series GPU.

if the rest of your system can handle it, then it is a good upgrade yes

There is as well a GTX 980 TI for 450, I think it is a very good deal. But since I do not play games, it would be just an item I am buying for the fun of it. still USD 450 is high for something I am going to rarely use. but the price is appealing.
I tried to get the 780 for USD 165, but the seller did not approve.
and the seller is saying it is new for the 980 ti

you are right guys. as for the 980ti, I am rechecking the ad, sometimes you feel that an ad is a scam, especially if no phone number is mentioned. and it does seem very strange to have it at that price. I am going to retry to lower the price of the 780 if I can.
I have 3 systems that I have built. two of them have an i7 2600 at 4.2 GHz, and one has just an i3 2100, this one has inside of it a gtx 760. the other two have gtx 660 and R7 240. and I have a gtx 560 ti lying around.

I think the i7 2600 at 4.2 can still keep up with the 780

I have just made a deal for a Gigabyte 970 the ITX model for USD 192. I know it might not be the best gtx 970. but I thought it was a good deal. hope don't regret it later.
